On the 9th of February 2025, the first “Vegan Paradise Fest” of Puerto Rico will take place at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, San Juan. As with vegan festivals organised around the world, it will offer a wide variety of vegan dishes and products, as well as information on sustainable practices and the positive impact of veganism on animals, health, and the environment.

The event will feature the participation of experts in plant-based eating, such as influencer Natalia Bercero, known as “Mamichanchu”, plant-based product developer Christopher Suárez, and chef Jessica Colón. Jonathan Falcon, the producer of the “Vegan Paradise Fest,” told Nuevo Dia, “We are excited to present this all-vegan culinary festival. We want to provide a space for the public to learn, learn about and enjoy plant-based food and sustainable practices that are transforming the way we eat and live. The event is designed for food lovers, you don’t need to be vegan to enjoy the experience.”

The famous Chef Loumiry Sánchez, who represented Puerto Rico in the North American chain Food Network, will be in charge of directing the Vegan Paradise Academy, a series of workshops led by experts who will share their knowledge on veganism and sustainability. Also among the featured workshop leaders are Poliniza Rey Soto, Richard Pascual, Nishka Carrasquillo Rengifo, Elian Fernández, Perla Alessandra, Dr. Joanna Fray, Karla Salinari and Gabriela Rocafort. The Vint Fresh Market will also be part of the event offering second-hand and vintage clothing.

Those interested have until the 9th of February to purchase their tickets with the “early-bird” discount through the VeganParadiseFest.com portal.
